Teresa Camden MD New Medical Spa In Glen Allen Botox Offerings Are Helping Clients Achieve Their Goals

Dec 10, 2020

December 10, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - New Medical Spa: Teresa Camden MD is offering BOTOX treatments in Glen Allen, VA. The clinic also offers a wide range of other skin and body treatments such as PDO thread lift, laser services, butt lift, body filler skin tightening, Latisse, retinol & skincare, b-12 injections for weight loss, chemical peel, Juvéderm, weight loss medication, Kybella, wrinkles, and vampire facelift & microneedling.

BOTOX is most commonly used as a cosmetic treatment. It works best when it’s used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in and around the forehead and eyes. BOTOX may also be used to treat conditions related to bodily functions, including chronic migraine, urinary incontinence, lazy eye, and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

On its website, the clinic explains the need for its BOTOX treatments. As people age, the connective tissue in the skin breaks down. These tissues, known as collagen and elastin, work together to make skin tight and supple. Besides the loss of connective tissue, the cushioning layer of fat that separates muscle from the skin gradually diminishes. As a result of losing tissue and fat, wrinkles begin to develop.

According to Dr. Camden, BOTOX is made up of very small amounts of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum in a purified and refined form. When injected, BOTOX interrupts signals that force muscle contractions. This allows facial muscles to fully relax, which ultimately helps the skin smooth out. When compared to other injections, BOTOX is particularly beneficial because it goes to work immediately. Most patients should notice an improvement shortly after their treatment. More details about the treatment, along with pictures, can be viewed on the clinic’s Facebook Page.

BOTOX is FDA approved starting at age 18. Dr. Camden emphasizes the importance of starting treatment early, as it can prevent lines from ever forming on the face. XEOMIN is an analog alternative that works in a similar manner. Dr. Camden says that during the consultation, the practitioner will inform the patient about which injectable is best suited for their needs.

BOTOX is known for being long-lasting. Dr. Camden says that most clients find that it smooths moderate to severe frown lines and wrinkles for up to four months. For fine lines, the treatment could last even longer. If Dr. Camden decides that Xeomin is a better fit for the patient, they can expect smoother-looking skin to last for about 12 to 16 weeks. With either type of injectable, it’s perfectly safe to repeat treatments once the effects wear off. Prices range from $9-$12 per unit depending on how much of the treatment is being planned.

Dr. Camden says that some men and women who get BOTOX injections describe a slight pinching feeling upon injection. She says that this is entirely normal and is well-tolerated. BOTOX shouldn’t be painful. However, if the patient is having an injection in a known sensitive area, like near the corners of the eyes, they might feel more stinging than they would in their forehead.

Dr. Camden says that wants her patients’ treatment to be as smooth and painless as possible. She uses a topical cream to make the injections more comfortable. Dr. Camden says that she might suggest applying a topical numbing cream or ice pack about 20 minutes before the treatment.

According to a review by Jennifer D, “Dr. Camden and her staff are incredibly amazing. Dr. Camden is very professional with a wonderful personality. Propellic publishes the first behavioral study on AI visibility in travel

Propellic, the leading travel marketing and advertising agency, has published The state of AI visibility for travel, a behavioral study of how travelers research, trust and book trips with AI. It’s the agency’s second study of AI in travel. Its 2025 research, From Search to Purchase, examined how AI was changing every stage of travel booking inside Google AI Mode. This year’s study widens the lens to more AI tools, with each traveler free to use whichever they AI tool already had, and follows them for a full week. Fielded with Touchstone Research in August 2026, it recorded travelers’ screens as they chose destinations, researched hotels, built multi-day itineraries, found day tours and moved to booking. Nobody was asked to rate AI. The brief was to plan a trip.
