Integrity Chiropractic offers a new article and blog post about the features to consider when purchasing a pillow. New pillow designs are constantly appearing on the market, so choosing the right one is important.
Kirkland WA - April 4, 2019 / / —
Integrity Chiropractic and Dr. Frank Wen, Kirkland Chiropractor are pleased to announce that they have posted the results of information gathered from research into the types of pillows that are available. The right pillow is helpful in managing neck and shoulder pain. Several studies were considered to obtain the results of the article. The conclusions on some admittedly small tests determined that people are often poor at picking the right pillow. In fact, only about fifty percent of people were found to be sleeping on the best pillow choice for their needs.
It has been found that there is some correlation between sleep quality and pillow comfort, purchasing a pillow with top comfort or enjoying the best sleep quality doesn't guarantee waking up without common pain symptoms. The most common symptom found after an overnight stretch is neck stiffness, even if the pillow is rated as comfortable, or sleep quality is considered high. When there is bad sleep pillow or low pillow comfort, there is more likely to produce shoulder and neck stiffness.
The most salient points from the article include the pillow material. The least popular pillows used by participants are regular foam, wool and feather pillows. Latex pillow users tend to report high comfort and sleep quality. The article concludes that the best pillow to recommend to people looking for a new pillow is a latex one.
Cervical pillows were not found to significantly change the pain level and so are not selected for recommendation. Another consideration which may affect muscle activity in the neck and upper back is the height of the pillow. Since most people are side sleepers, it is important to maintain the correct alignment of the spine and hips. Too little height will cause excessive activity in the neck and upper back muscles and may contribute to the development of knots and stiffness as well as being less comfortable to sleep on.

A new CVE drops. Your scanner finds it. The severity score looks ugly. But that still does not answer the question that matters: Can it actually be exploited in your environment? Mythos-class AI is compressing the time between disclosure and working exploitation, while many security programs still validate risk on weekly or quarterly cycles. The dangerous gap is no longer just technical. It is
Identity visibility is a starting point for modern identity security, because stolen and misused credentials are among the most frequently reported initial access vectors in breach research, including Verizon's annual Data Breach Investigations Report. Years ago, I watched a focus group explain itself into a contradiction. We asked people what mattered when choosing car insurance. Price won. The deductible came next. Reputation did not appear. During coffee, I asked the interviewer to change the question. How much cheaper would a less prestigious insurer have to be before they switched? One participant, who 15 minutes earlier ranked price first, said no discount was large enough. Nothing changed except how we asked the question. Something...
