UK Artist Suspect 21 Wins at Hollywood Music in Media Awards

Mar 24, 2023

Colchester, Essex Mar 23, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The HMMA music awards hosted in Hollywood have become one of the most prestigious music gala events in the Hollywood calendar, recognising songwriters and producers from film and television across the world.

On 16th November 2017 Colchester-based singer-songwriters, Steve Mansfield and Steve Perry were awarded the Hollywood Music in Media accolade in the AAA category at the famous Avalon Theatre in Hollywood.

Their track 'Walkaway' was written by the pair some years earlier and after Steve and Steve went their separate ways with their music ambitions they decided to work together to complete this great track and were thrilled to be nominated earlier in the year. But on the 16th of November in front of a huge Hollywood red carpet crowd, they were finally presented with their prestigious category award.

The team had previously been nominated for Best International Newcomers at the Los Angeles Music Awards and had been nominees on two previous occasions at the Music in Media Awards as Monkeynuts Music. But this year was their year and after submitting their track under Steve Mansfield's 'Suspect 21' the two Colchester-based singer-songwriters were finally successful at the Hollywood Music in Media awards.
