Winchester, United Kingdom - December 20, 2020 /PressCable/ —

This year has been a fantastic year for Shuttercraft, seeing us shortlisted for several awards in the franchise industry and winning a variety of support and service accolades.

While 2020 has been a difficult year for many, it hasn’t slowed Shuttercraft down. Taking on new Franchise Partners has meant momentum at the head office, based in Hampshire, has been non-stop.

Shuttercraft’s development from van franchise to management franchise model has given the franchise partners the chance to really grow their businesses as leaders.

Martin Jones, franchisee (Warwick, Worcestershire and Monmouth), shared his thoughts on this change:

“I knew that Shuttercraft had improved their model and that really appealed to me – my skills are in running a business and dealing with customers. I’d always been front of house in my previous business and I wanted to make sure that I could continue to do this whilst maximising business opportunities. “

Our greatest recognition this year was the bfa HSBC Annual Franchise Awards – Business Transformation 2020 winner.

The bfa is a trade association for the British franchising industry and is recognised for its dedication to the ethical standards of franchise businesses.

Commenting on the win, Lisa Stead, Shuttercraft Franchise Manager said: “The team has worked so hard pushing boundaries, stepping out of their comfort zones, and striving for change in order to provide the very best service to and for our network. Winning the Business Transformation award, amongst such fantastic other entries, has been a massive recognition of dedication to the development of the franchise. We were genuinely rather overwhelmed to have reached the final, let alone actually win.”

The award made for a great end of year celebration that further grew with the arrival of our Elite Franchise 100 placement in the Top 25 Franchises in the UK!

Each year, Shuttercraft has climbed the EF100 ladder and 2020 marked the first in the top 25, making Shuttercraft not only the only shutter franchise to make the list, but also place as the top home improvement franchise. EF100 recognizes the sector’s brightest businesses ranking them according to a broad range of criteria – from their financial performance and heritage in the industry to their contribution to community and innovation. Their guide defines the best opportunities and brands in the UK.

As the home improvement industry has continued to do well during the pandemic, Shuttercraft has also been recognised for the quality of our installation and customer services when selling and installing S:CRAFT products.

Earlier in the year, Global 100 awarded us the Best Custom Window Shutter Provider 2020. The awards consist of only 100 of the World’s leading firms and individuals, with votes received from their global readers, in over 163 countries worldwide – and it didn’t end there!

Adding to the end of year successes, the M&A Today Global Awards also awarded us Best Custom Window Shutters 2021 this December.

Shuttercraft is proud to only supply and fit S:CRAFT products. Innovating window coverings, S:CRAFT shutters and blinds come in a huge variety of materials and styles making them suitable for any home. Paired with the Shuttercraft promise of no hard sales and high-quality customer service, seen in our smashing 5* Trustpilot reviews, Shuttercraft deliver a premium service to every one of their customers.

This quality also reflects in the support and marketing head office teams. We were thrilled to be shortlisted as an FMA Marketing Awards Finalist this year and though we didn’t take home a trophy, the awards acknowledge the importance of excellent marketing promoting individual franchisees.

There was also the fantastic news that Shuttercraft’s friends and colleagues at MRS Digital won the UK Search Awards Best Local Campaign for our 23 in one PPC venture for local marketing.

This highlights not only the head office team’s hard work but the hard work that goes into choosing the right supporting agencies and suppliers that share our core values in delivering quality services to our network.

2020 may be coming to an end, but Shuttercraft successes certainly are not! Currently, the company has three finalist nominations at the Virtual Franchising Awards (VFA) for Best Franchisee Support, Franchisor of the Year and Best Adaptation to Change. The VFA awards will be announced in January 2021 – fingers crossed the winning streak continues!

Shuttercraft is one of the UK’s largest shutter companies, expertly installing premium, made-to-measure shutters and blinds transforming homes up and down the country. You will always deal with a local Shuttercraft expert via their network of franchise partners – only selling quality S:CRAFT products.
