Nagrai named to Executive Leadership Team for The Walk to End Alzheimer's, set to attend Alzheimer’s Association Community Leaders Summit

Neil Nagraj, a Senior Care Authority advisor serving all of the boroughs of New York, has been chosen to participate in The Alzheimer’s Association Community Leaders Summit. The conference will be held January 25-27, 2024, in New Orleans, LA.

The Alzheimer’s Association Community Leaders Summit serves as a gathering of minds, bringing together Alzheimer's Association volunteers and staff from across the nation to share in a collective vision of a world free from the impact of Alzheimer's and all other forms of dementia. The summit is designed to inspire attendees, fostering a deeper understanding of the Association's crucial leadership role in Alzheimer’s care, support, advocacy, and research. It aims to motivate participants to play an even more significant role in delivering on the mission to eradicate Alzheimer's disease.

In addition to attending the summit, Nagrai was tapped to join The Manhattan Walk to End Alzheimer's Executive Leadership Team. The Walk to End Alzheimer's Executive Leadership Team members are volunteer leaders who serve under the direction of the Executive Event Chair and work in conjunction with a staff lead to ensure the success of the Walk to End Alzheimer's. This position is responsible for recruiting volunteers, sponsors, and company teams who will contribute to raising revenue, increasing awareness and participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and ultimately, exceeding the event's goals.

“I’ve experienced firsthand the devastating toll Alzheimer’s takes on both the affiliated and their families,” Nagraj said. “My experience has impressed upon me just how important the Alzheimer’s Association’s work is. I’m honored to support their mission by joining The Walk to End Alzheimer's Executive Leadership Team and help raise both awareness and resources among Manhattan’s corporate community.”

Neil Nagraj joins Senior Care Authority after a 20-year career in media. He was an editor at the New York Daily News, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post. Following his journalism career he held leadership positions in the marketing departments of Trip Advisor and Coinbase, and also founded his own agency. During a year spent managing care for his father-in-law, he found immense fulfillment in helping his family navigate the eldercare landscape. He's excited to join Senior Care Authority and help others find the best care options for their loved ones.

Neil was educated at the University of Virginia and Georgetown University. He lives in New York with his wife and two young children. In his free-time, he is an avid skier, golfer, and fly fisherman.
