Pregis to Highlight EPR Expertise, Sustainable Packaging Solutions and Live Automation Demonstrations at Pack Expo International 2026

Sep 30, 2026

CHICAGO - Sept. 30, 2026 - PRLog -- Pregis®, a global supplier of protective packaging, flexible packaging and mailing and bagging solutions, will exhibit at Booth S-3874 at Pack Expo International 2026, held October 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Attendees can explore the breadth of Pregis solutions, consult with on-floor engineering experts and see live automation demonstrations illustrating how equipment design and material selection work together to improve protection, productivity and cost efficiency while enhancing customer experience. Pregis experts will also help visitors identify packaging options that address regulatory compliance, operational complexity, rising freight costs and sustainability goals while lowering total cost of ownership.

"The Pregis Pack Expo exhibit is designed to help organizations and our channel partners turn today's packaging challenges into an advantage. By bringing together regulatory expertise, material and equipment innovations, a consultative approach and purpose-driven solutions such as our Inspyre™ packaging line, we can help companies identify strategies that deliver measurable business value, improve the customer experience and create meaningful social impact," said Daché Davidson, Chief Marketing Officer for Pregis.

Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance

With extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation now in effect in multiple U.S. states and Europe's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) creating new compliance requirements for global operations, Pregis will use Pack Expo 2026 to help organizations assess their exposure before fee obligations scale and identify practical paths forward.

At the Pregis IQ Expert Bar, sustainability experts and packaging engineers can help companies evaluate how material selection and rightsizing affect producer fee calculations and identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership through package design.

Sustainability will be showcased throughout the booth through the 4Rs framework that drives the company's material innovation strategy: reduction, renewable materials, recycled content and recyclability. A few highlights include:
  • PolyPlank® RenewTM XL: Carries third-party certification for 98 percent pre-consumer recycled PE foam content.
  • EverTecTM Mailers: Constructed from renewable, responsibly sourced kraft paper and widely recyclable, available as a ready-to-pack workstation solution or paired with Sharp semi and fully automated mailing & bagging systems.
  • AirSpeed® Renew PCR: On-demand void-fill and cushioning inflatable packaging made with 80 percent post-consumer recycled content, balancing protection requirements, sustainability commitments and operational fit.
  • Fiber-based thermal packaging: Added through the recent acquisition of MP Global Packaging, combines reliable performance with renewable and recyclable materials designed for temperature-controlled shipping within healthcare and food segments.

Innovation and Automation

The booth's automation display will feature a sorting line routing a variety of goods to active packaging stations replicating a fulfillment operation challenged with packing a variety of goods while balancing protection, productivity and cost. Within this automation hub, Pregis will demonstrate automated mailing & bagging and inside-the-box packaging solutions.
  • Sharp Lynx 18TM: An all-electric automated bagger running in both lights-out and hand-fed demonstrations gives visitors a firsthand view of the latest in bagging fulfillment flexibility.
  • EasyPack® Strata: A high-speed paper system engineered to produce structured pads that deliver scalable protection, bridging the gap between enhanced void fill and light cushioning.
  • Pregis will debut the new Sharp on-demand rightsized mailing system, which produces a precisely sized mailer for each order, eliminating excess material use and optimizing freight.

Customer Experience and Purpose

Pregis will showcase the Inspyre™ packaging line, which allows brands to choose packaging with measurable social impact. One percent of revenues from Inspyre brand purchases is donated to Uzima Clean Water Mission, which provides water filters and education to communities without access to safe drinking water. Pregis will make an additional donation for each visitor who checks in at Booth S-3874, allowing attendees to support the program while learning more about purpose-driven packaging solutions.

Pack Expo attendees can learn more about Pregis at Booth S-3874, where packaging experts will be available throughout the show for consultations and demonstrations. Visitors can request an appointment at Pregis.com/pack-expo.
