Navancio LLC (navancio.com) arrived Friday afternoon, May 29, loaded with critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to aid the Hopi Tribe in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The mission was put together and arranged by the team at Navancio LLC, which was founded by Mark Maryboy and who is also the president of the company.
By Navancio supplying PPE to the Hopi villages, they were able to enact their emergency response protocols that directed immediate and necessary precautions and measures for the health and safety of all their tribal community members. Navancio’s logistics and supply chain experts honorably accepted the challenge of procuring the needed PPE supplies for the Hopi villages to disperse to every household in their community.
“The procurement process is usually quite simple, however, with the world experiencing the epidemic together, there were unique logistical challenges while executing the delivery orders from the manufacturers to the villagers. In the end, the perseverance of the team ultimately allowed for all the critical PPE to be delivered to the Hopi villages,” said Mckenzie Hall, Managing Director of Navancio LLC.
Hopi’s message to their people: “A virus does not move, people move it.”The Hopi leaders encouraged the Hopi public to take charge of their own health and welfare and be cautious in their daily interactions with others during this time. As a direct response to this directive, some villages took it upon themselves to provide every household in their community with necessary PPE supplies.
"We are working to establish immediate precautionary measures to protect the health, safety and welfare of all our community members," stated Mark Maryboy, President of Navancio LLC.
