Lowcountry Eye Care’s West Ashley Location to Switch Offices

Mar 24, 2023

Charleston, South Carolina -

March 24, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Lowcountry Eye Care will be shifting their West Ashley locale to a new office that’s only two minutes away from the former office, with operations switching over completely on April 3. The practice will offer all the same services and doctors West Ashley patients are accustomed to but from a newly constructed building with updated amenities.

Dr. Wes Shealy, co-owner of the practice and optometrist at Lowcountry Eye Care, says this change will help their team better serve patients in the long run, and the updated facilities will allow for more thorough care.

“We’ve been a part of West Ashley for some time now, and we saw an opportunity to step-up our care by expanding into a new space — it was a no-brainer, and our team is beyond thrilled,” said Dr. Shealy. “After teasing updates of the construction process, we’re finally able to show patients in person just how beautiful the new office is. Plus, it has everything we need to continue practicing at the high quality they’re used to.”

Having outgrown the old West Ashley office, the new location has more square footage than the former. Additionally, since it was built to specifically serve as an eye care practice, everything is designed to better meet the needs of Lowcountry Eye Care’s patients.

While the building itself was created specifically for a more positive patient experience, Lowcountry Eye Care co-owner and optometrist, Dr. Joe Pitcavage, said the move was planned carefully for the staff’s convenience and comfort as well.

“We thought long and hard about where in West Ashley would be the perfect spot for the project, and at the end of the day, we wanted our patients to have a simple transition. The new office is just a two-minute drive down the street and is easy to find, so that’s great,” said Dr. Pitcavage. “It was also very important for us to ensure they can see the doctors they know and trust, so everyone who was at our old office will be there providing the same services. We can’t wait to see our patients and share this with them.”

Lowcountry Eye Care’s new West Ashley office is located at 12 Farmfield Ave. Suite C, Charleston, SC 29407. They’ll begin taking appointments at the new office for new and existing patients beginning April 3.
