The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
In order to remain up to date in her field, Dr. Beachkofsky is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Florida Psychiatric Society. She has over a decade of service in the military and has gained invaluable expertise, from overseeing an inpatient psychiatric unit as the medical director to teaching within the graduate medical education system and caring for outpatients in virtual clinics.
Passionate about teaching, she currently provides talks and educational resources to boost collaboration between therapists and psychiatrists through a website called Brain Bites with Dr. B. She previously taught within the graduate medical education system (medical students, interns, residents) and provided training and collaboration within different mental health disciplines.
