Jeep wins ‘Most Patriotic Brand’ for the 19th year in a row

Despite the fact that the new Ford Bronco is expected to impact sales of the popular Jeep Wrangler in the US, Jeep still took the title of Brand Keys’ most patriotic brand in North America for a 19th year running. This survey is an indication of the emotional connection consumers have with the brand, not so much whether the products are good quality.
The annual Brand Keys survey saw a total of 1,172 brands evaluated. A sample group of 5,804 consumers, ranging in age from 16 to 65, across political affiliation and gender, was surveyed to identify which brands are considered most patriotic. Amongst other big names such as Walmart and Disney, the Jeep car maker’s name topped the list, with Ford coming in fourth place, tied with Amazon. EV-giant Tesla came in at 30th, while Apple and Twitter tied for 12th place.
Having taken the top spot for almost twenty years, the Jeep brand’s popularity can be attributed to the fact that it manufactures vehicles on home soil, in the USA. Thousands of jobs are created in this way. To further nurture patriotism, Jeep often adds special editions to its lineup which further fosters a sense of national unity. Examples of these include the Freedom Editions of vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Brand Keys president Robert Passikof believes that brands engaging in emotional values like patriotism in this way, garner more support, and in turn, higher profits.
