InsuranceAgencyTools.com Launches Free Buying Guide to Insurance Leads, CRMs and Agency Software

Oct 22, 2026

The new site profiles 413 vendors across 26 categories and offers 19 free calculators for insurance agents and agency owners.

San Antonio, Texas, United States, October 22, 2026 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- InsuranceAgencyTools.com, a free buying guide for insurance agents and agency owners, has launched. The site covers the lead vendors, software and services agencies pay for, including insurance lead companies, CRMs and agency software, dialers, agency management systems, IMOs and E&O coverage.

The guide profiles 413 vendors across 26 categories. Each profile is built from the vendor's published pricing, terms and product pages, and every price carries the month it was confirmed. The site does not score vendors or publish star ratings. Each page lays out what a vendor sells, what it costs, its terms and who it suits. When a vendor changes its prices or plans, the record changes first and every page that uses those facts updates with it.

Nineteen free insurance agency tools turn those records into answers. The lead budget planner ranks 99 published lead prices by cost per sale at an agent's own budget and close rate. The lead test planner sizes a fair test of two or three lead companies. Other tools shortlist agency management systems, dialers, quoting software and E&O programs, compare IMO contract terms and total the first-year cost of a tech stack. No sign up is needed.

The launch includes two original studies. In the first, the editorial team asked four widely used AI assistants the same 112 questions about 23 insurance lead companies, then checked 2,671 facts against each company's own pages. One in three answers had at least one wrong fact, and prices were the most common error. The results are published in What AI Tells Agents About Lead Companies. The second study coded the buyer terms of the same 23 companies on 30 points. Of the 19 with public buyer terms, 13 make the agent responsible for calling compliance and only two promise proof of consent for each lead.

"Comparison pages for agency software and lead vendors had become crowded with sites that look polished but get the facts wrong," said Bryan Gray, editor of InsuranceAgencyTools. "Agents make real spending decisions from those pages. We wanted a resource that gets the details right and shows when they were last checked."

InsuranceAgencyTools grew out of Insurance Leads Guide, which has helped agents buy and work insurance leads since 2009. Gray has worked in insurance marketing since 2008. The site is free to use and publishes a newsletter that tracks price, policy and feature changes at the vendors it covers.
