Livonia Jacuzzi Spas Dealer Selling New and Used Hot Tubs and Swim Spas Shares Tips for Fighting Summer Boredom for Children, Offers Free Test Soaks to Area Residents

July 18, 2017 —

Allstate Home Leisure, a Jacuzzi Spas and Sundance hot tubs dealer with stores in Novi, Livonia, Rochester, Ann Arbor and Sterling Heights, MI is proud to share some tips to fight summer boredom for children.

Roy Farmer, the president of Allstate Home Leisure said, “July is typically when the thrill of being out of school begins to wear off. Here are three things to do right in the backyard to fight summer boredom. ”

Host a Luau – Don’t have the time for a trip to Hawaii? Bring a taste of Hawaii home any time. Hosting a luau for friends and family is a fun way to fight boredom. But, it takes planning. A little different than throwing some burgers on the grill, a real traditional luau takes study. However, it’s a great challenge for the kids.

Depending on their abilities and ages, have family members research how to create or assemble the various elements of a luau. Staging a luau is also a fun way to learn without being in school. Everyone in the family will discover interesting things about an entirely different culture.

Pitch a Tent – Families don’t have to actually go on vacation to enjoy a vacation. Camp out without ever leaving home by pitching a tent in the backyard. A backyard camping trip has all of the fun elements of the great outdoors including roasting marshmallows over a fire pit and family sing-a-longs.

When planning a backyard campout, make sure there is enough tent space for everyone in the family, and any friends who want to join in on the fun. If sleeping under the stars isn’t possible due to local restrictions or available space, have the campout activities, and then spread sleeping bags in the living room or family room for a campout-style sleep over.

Make a Splash – Nothing creates more fun for kids of all ages (adults included) than water. One of the most creative and fun ways to enjoy water during the summer is to add a hot tub to a yard or porch. With a great variety of sizes available, no space is too big or too small for a portable spa. Small hot tubs can even be placed on patios and balconies—great for fun on the hottest of summer days and the coldest of winter nights.

Hot tubs give kids a place to play and adults a spot to relax. The younger members of the family will enjoy how much their friends like the hot tub too. And parents won’t have to look far to find the kids with a hot tub in the yard.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a hot tub to have more fun and help improve their overall health and well-being, Allstate Home Leisure is providing free test soaks at all their showrooms. They do recommend, however, that people wanting to schedule their free 30-minute soak call them ahead of time to reserve their spot.

Threat Intelligence Alone Won't Close the Exploitation Gap

A leaked credential shows up in a criminal marketplace, or a vulnerability gets a disclosure advisory, and either one can be weaponized against a real target before most security teams have triaged the alert. Attackers are combining that kind of intelligence with AI-assisted exploitation to accelerate the path from exposure to breach faster than most security programs are built to react.
