Dr. Yoon Ji Jang DDS explains the process and benefits of Invisalign treatment.
NEWTON, Mass. - June 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Newton cosmetic dentist, Dr. Yoon Ji Jang DDS, explains Invisalign including its treatment process and benefits. Invisalign plastic aligners is a popular orthodontic treatment for patients as they are removable and clear. Although many patients choose Invisalign, there are other options like Clear Correct or Smile Direct Club. Invisalign does provide better for oral health and is faster acting compared to metal braces. For more information, please visit www.newtondentistryma.com/invisalign.
Patients interested in Invisalign first visit Dr. Jang for a consultation to verify that they are eligible. If an exam shows that Invisalign is an option, Dr. Jang can begin the planning process by taking X-rays, bite impressions, and photos. The information from these records is used to make aligner designs, which are then sent to the Invisalign lab for production. Patients return to Dr. Jang a few weeks later to start wearing their first stage of aligners. During the treatment period, which lasts an average of twelve months, patients return every two weeks to have their progress checked and receive new aligners that will bring them closer to their final results.
In addition to Invisalign treatment, Dr. Jang performs a full range of cosmetic treatments, such as teeth whitening, veneers, smile makeovers, dental implants and dental bridges.
