To help educate expecting mothers about their choices, Dominique Gallo has released more in-depth details of the birth and postpartum services she offers on her website: http://www.dominiquedoula.com.
Gallo Birth Services offers new and expecting parents in Roanoke three main areas of support:
Birth Doula Services – Provides mother and partner with complete non-judgmental support during all types of births- natural deliveries and planned cesareans. This empowers mothers to feel confident giving birth and making decisions for the care of her baby and her family.
Postpartum Doula Services – Encourages evidence-based information to help support and educate the new mother and her family while understanding their needs and providing care. Taking care of both mother and newborn, gives the mother the confidence and support she needs to enjoy her new role in life.
Lactation Services – Assists and nurtures the mother’s breastfeeding goals while helping overcome potential challenges. Breastfeeding is a very natural process, but sometimes things don’t always go as planned. Comfort and encouragement helps strengthen mothers to pursue their personal plans for breastfeeding their newborn.
Dominique Gallo, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Registered Lactation Counselor, Certified Doula and proud mother of two children, is excited to bring her experience in childbirth services to Roanoke. She says:
“With the proper support team and evidence-based information about birth, breastfeeding, and the process a woman can have a positive experience and have the ability to make truly informed decisions about her care and the care of her baby. I am here to help mothers gain courage and empower them to have the birth they choose and to support them once their special delivery arrives.”
