IPFM Headshots is owned by Iain PF McDonald, an actor and a professional photographer with a studio based in the Hollywood Hills. He provides creative portraits, corporate photos and headshots for those in the acting, comedy, dancing, music, real estate and other corporate industries.
Iain has a love of people and photography and explains that he is passionate about portraits, both still image and motion picture. He has a deep appreciation for how the human face is the gateway to humans interconnected experience in this world. It is this tool that is so important to the acting profession.
As an actor himself, Iain knows that actors need a variety of looks when having headshots done, which can sometimes be cost prohibitive to budding actors. He explains that it is for this reason that he offers an unlimited looks package which allows actors to get all the looks they need for the season ahead in one session.
When an actor arrives at his studio for a headshot shoot, Iain will discuss with them their thoughts, ideas and looks for the shoot. The actor is then free to change their hair, make-up, clothes and props as many times as needed for the range of required shots.
He also understands that some people in the entertainment industry may need their photography on the same day and can accommodate this need. He offers a fast, same day local headshot photography service and will travel to the following areas: Hollywood, West Hollywood, North Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Studio City, Burbank, Los Felix, Silver Lake and the greater Los Angeles area.
