Rialto, United States - February 14, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Steel Plumbing & Drain Experts owner, Raul Vecerra says that the company prides itself in the high-quality service it provides. The core philosophy is to build relationships one customer at a time. The service men are required to wear booties and use plastic runners to protect our customers’ homes. “Treat customers home as if is your own.”

In addition, the company helps keep customers informed and in compliance with changes in any regulations affecting residences and commercial customers. Many customers are surprised at the increased costs of replacing their water heater after the new regulations that took effect in April 2005.

In April 2015 a major change to the water heater market took effect that affected all home owners needing to replace their water heater. They require higher energy factor (EF) ratings on virtually all residential water heating products including gas-fired, oil-fired, electric, tabletop, instantaneous gas-fired and instantaneous electric. Tank less water heater already meets the new (EF) standards so there is no problem here.

What this means for homeowners is that they may face higher equipment and installation costs when replacing a water heater that will meet the new standards. How much more will depend on the type and size water heater that meets their needs and the new standards. Under the new guidelines the water heater may require more insulation to the water heater and the pipes and fittings.

It appears that there is little impact on most commercial businesses except for small office buildings and apartment complexes. Some smaller businesses, with low hot water demand, may elect to use smaller water heaters, but can still choose between residential and commercial water heaters.

Another specialty service the company provides, that has helped commercial businesses, is Hydro Jet preventative maintenance. This is particularly needed for an office or apartment building where debris such as waste, hair, soap and other debris can build up and clog your pipes. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This is a great way to ensure that your tenants to not experience toilet or sink clogs and backups.

The company reports that the commercial side of their business is growing rapidly and they are expanding to meet the demand.

Nov 20, 2018

CHICAGO — It is Saturday morning, and 10-year-old Henry Hailey is up at the crack of dawn. Still in PJs, his microphone-equipped headphones glowing blue in the dim basement, he fixates on the popular online game "Fortnite" on a large screen. "What?! Right as I was about to finish it, I died," he calls out disappointedly to his friend Gus, a fellow fifth-grader playing the game from his home just a few blocks away. "Dude, I should NOT have died." The digital battles resume, and Henry's enthusiasm never wanes. Would he play all day if his parents let him? "Probably,"...

The Baltimore university said the contribution — the largest ever to any education institution in the U.S. — will allow Johns Hopkins to eliminate student loans in financial aid packages starting next fall. The university will instead offer scholarships that don't have to be repaid. University President Ronald Daniels said Bloomberg's contribution will also let the institution permanently commit to "need-blind admissions," or the principle of admitting the highest-achieving...

DeVos wants to change campus rules on sexual misconduct

Nov 20, 2018

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has proposed a major overhaul to the way colleges and universities handle sexual misconduct complaints, adding protections for students accused of assault and harassment and narrowing which cases schools would be required to investigate. Her plan would scale back important Obama administration rules while adding mandates that could reshape the school disciplinary systems that schools have developed over the past decade. Under the new plan proposed Friday, colleges would have to investigate complaints only if the alleged incident occurred on campus or in other areas overseen by the school, and only if it was reported to...
